Terminator 2: Judgement Day 3D – Film Review

Arnold Schwarzenegger returns to the big screen in “Terminator 2: Judgement Day 3D”, the digitally remastered science-fiction tale of survival, family, friendship and time travel.

Terminator 2: Judgement Day is set 11 years after the first film “The Terminator” and follows John Connor, the son of Linda Hamilton’s character, Sarah Connor who survived in first film. In this sequel, the T-800 played by Arnold Schwarzenegger has been reprogrammed and sent back to protect the boy, all the while a newer model cyborg of frightening shape-shifting qualities, the T-1000 played by Robert Patrick is trying to kill them all.

With great directing by James Cameron, an attention-grabbing plot, insane action sequences and ahead of its time special effects; Terminator 2: Judgement Day is the perfect example of a great film that stands the test of time. I’m so glad Studio Canal and James Cameron went ahead and brought this film back to the big screen. The 3D experience is great as the guns and action sequences tend to pop out at you and you feel like you’re apart of the movie.

Even after 26 years, Terminator 2: Judgement Day is still just as epic as I remember as a kid. Whether you’ve seen the film before, or this will be your first time – you need to see this on the big screen. Terminator: 2 Judgement Day has enough context to follow for first timers who haven’t seen the other films in the series and is a pop culture phenomenon.

Terminator 2: Judgement Day 3D is to be released for ONE WEEK ONLY from August 24 so you better see it before ‘Skynet becomes self-aware’.
